  I went on Thursday night :(
  No one was there on Thursday night, I had a few drinks, but only a few couples showed up and then left. I was there before on the weekend and it was packed.

  We went last night at around 2am, It was packed. Mostly locals. Everyone was really dancing. It's just a really fun place.

  We just returned from a 5 day trip , Dec 28 - JaN 1 2014 I have been to Cancun , three and 5 years ago, now it is no longer the place to go for Gay clubbing , so depressing all weekend and including New Years , was Dead , the surrounding area is dirty , with many low lifes walking around, the even still have a cover charge , which is crazy , the club Karamba used to be such a hot spot , no its a complete diaster / dump. Do not waste your time, even the other club , the only other in town 1111 is just as slow, there is no one , I say no one in the clubs, many gays walk the street and as do visitors , they still think it's a hopping place, it's not I only hope some investor comes and buys the places and brings back what the gay nightlife in Cancun used to be.

  Disappointing
  Went to this bar in February 2013, like other reviewers we were the only ones in! One night actually had 8 of us! Very disappointing but they dont promote it. Staff were very friendly and great but no customers! Nice enough club and good music just need people,

  three stars..wow thats a bit much
  Been trying this place from March 3 to the 8th and we will try one more time saturday.. but there is NOTHING redeeming about this club. The single drag show was spanish - understandable but not for the tourist crowd unless you are fluent. Last night it was like the bartender invited straight couples for pretend crowds. The drinks are marginally more expensive than 11:11 just down the street. Staff is friendly enough .. just deadsville. We were the only ones in the place a couple of times.. why i suspect they invited friends last night - we tried this place at 11:30, 1:30 and again after 11:11 was nearly closed - there's been no optimum time as yet (03/08) Its spring break here and none of the gay bars are promoting themselves so .. its all a local crowd, including 11:11 .. a few travelers were in 11:11 I suspect they, like us, googled or gaycitied their way over... too bad - so much potential and zip effort in marketing to a broad audience - hell even the "promotional cards" we got last night for ameture strip night last night were for a show on the 2nd - wtf?

  Went on a Saturday night. People in Mexico don't start partying until late, but this place is pretty hot once things get going. Try 11:11, too.

  Karamba has improved
  I just went to karamba after a 4-year gap...It has been re-decorated and looks MUCH nicer than before. Beer and drinks are reasonable priced and there was a nice drag show the day I went..obviously in Spanish...Some tourists....Nice atmosphere and music!!!!! The day after there was a white-party but I didn't go....but I menyion it to show there is variety...

  I guess tourist season was low. People began getting there around 1 am. I was to sleepy and tired of waiting by them. Music was great, though.

  My Favorite Place in Cancun
  I love coming to Mexico, but the best part of my vacation is when I go to Karamba Bar! This Club has been renovated since the last time I was here in Aug 2010, I loved it before and I Love it now! I was there this Tuesday night and the club was PACKED!... Staff and clients alike are always very friendly and I have to say, I do spend most of my nights at Karamba bar. I even started making friends with the locals since I have been here so often since I discovered it in 2009! The shows are so well thought of and the costumes outstanding... keep up the good work guys, I will always be a loyal customer! PS.... you should make Karamba CD's, Love your remixes!

  The best place in town
  I'm on vacation in Cancun and I can't hardly wait every night to go to this wonderfull place, this past wednesday they had a parody of Osama and Clinton wich make me laugh like a baby, lol they have a lot of imagination about their shows. besides I had a very nice time talking to the nice waiter who attended me. whom also told me about other place in town and you know as a tourist I went to it but it was the worst place I ever been, so i came back to Karamba and I'm gonna spend all my vacation nights in there because when I like something I cant hardly change it. for something worse. the waiter told me they are gonna have stripers on this weekend and also they are having something like a carnival, and the music is awesome. I recommen this place as the best place in town
