1111 vs Karamba Bar
We went to both bars March 25, 2011. Very Different - 1111 much younger crowd, maybe 30% women???, much louder music, two dance floors and a very very dark back room. Karamba clients were typically 30 years and up, one dance floor, tiny smoking balcony, no back room, typical music and we only saw a couple women. We had a good time at both bars but went to Karamba twice. They're only a block apart so try both and see which one works for you.
I went to 1111, awfull
I was willing tohave a nice time with a nice mexican man but oh surprise.. must of the croud were women and i really didn' like it at all, place smells like a dirty shower so i better went out of there and went to the gay club karamba wich is relly very nice and people is much more classfull, i met a very beautiful boy from mexico city and we had a lot of fun. i really recomend you to go to karamba, for me it seems to be the best gay club here in cancun, sorry y had to leave soon from cancun because i can almost say i fallen in love
Best GAY lounge/bar in Cancun
This is a new gay lounge in Cancun. It's near Karamba Bar, so it's fun to go bar hopping. This place has a nice ambient atmosphere. Very colorful, classy, and has even smoking lights. There are some days where you pay just the cover fee and unlimited number of drinks, including tequila shots! It was super fun. A lot of young people, mostly guys. Nice place to enjoy the music and meet local and international people.
